Position Overview
We're seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll primarily support our IT Retainer customers, who rely heavily on cloud-based SaaS applications for their daily operations. This is a remote position focused on ensuring customer SaaS systems run smoothly, securely, and efficiently. You'll work closely with a diverse range of small businesses, acting as their first point of contact for IT issues, troubleshooting, maintenance, and user support.
Responsibilities
- Provide responsive technical support via email, chat, phone, and remote tools.
- Proactively monitor and manage customer SaaS applications, identifying and resolving issues before they impact users.
- Manage routine SaaS application maintenance tasks, including updates, user management, software licensing, and integration support.
- Assist with comprehensive IT audits, documenting SaaS environments, security practices, and integrations.
- Support the onboarding of new customers, including documentation of SaaS systems, security setup, and application integrations.
- Work collaboratively with senior IT team members on technology roadmaps, strategy, and cloud-based projects.
- Ensure security and compliance best practices are consistently implemented and maintained across client SaaS systems.
- Act as a liaison between clients and SaaS vendors, managing relationships and facilitating issue resolution.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and various cloud-based SaaS tools.
- Experience with SaaS security fundamentals, compliance standards, and best practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Outstanding communication skills, able to convey technical information clearly to non-technical users.
- Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Experience working with small businesses or within a managed IT service environment is a plus.
